With this new alliance, the industry’s leading agency reaffirms its commitment to support sport and female talent.
The great volleyball competition, which this year celebrates its 40th edition, will be held in Sant Cugat del Vallés from 17 to 19 February.
Fakoy, a leading communications, marketing and commercial support agency in the industrial sector, is the new sponsor of the XLVIII Iberdrola Queen’s Cup, which will be held from 17 to 19 February in the Barcelona town of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
With this new alliance, the company ratifies its commitment to support sport and, in particular, female talent, as it is a key factor in promoting the well-being of society. In this sense, Alexis Vegas, CEO of Fakoy, states that “at Fakoy we believe that it is very important to carry out actions that add to society and contribute to an egalitarian society and that means promoting the visibility of sport and above all, female talent“. We are very happy to sponsor this new edition of the SM La Reina Volleyball Cup, and we hope to continue to do so on future occasions“.
The host of the event, DSV CV Sant Cugat, along with the five best teams in the Iberdrola League at the end of the first round, will be the main protagonists of a sporting event that, year after year, is positioning itself as one of the most important in this discipline. Rafael Ruíz, coach of the Sant Cugat club, says “we are very excited to host the Iberdrola Queen’s Cup for the first time, and above all to be able to count on the support of companies like Fakoy, who want to continue promoting the visibility of women’s sport”.
The PAV3 of the Zona Esportiva Municipal de Sant Cugat del Vallès will be the venue for the tournament, which will take place during the penultimate weekend of February.
The attendees will be able to see the company’s logo on the big screen that will be placed in the venue where the matches will take place after each match, during the 3 days of the competition until the final.
In addition to this partnership, Fakoy is also an official sponsor of CVSES (Club Volei Sant Esteve Sesrovires), CHSES (Club Handball Sant Esteve Sesrovires) and Wat Fünfhaus Handball, the Austrian women’s handball team.
